The Pasadena Ballroom Dance Association was organized in 1983 by sisters Erin & Tami Stevens as a way to promote all forms of social dancing. The classes generally run in progressive, 6-week series all year 'round ($75 series; or $15 single class admission.) Near the end of each series, the dates and times of the next series are updated on this site. 

Classes

We offer Beginning thru Advanced group classes (& private lessons) in Ballroom Dancing and all styles of Swing Dancing: Jitterbug (Eastcoast Swing), Lindy Hop, Smooth Lindy/Westcoast Swing, and Balboa, plus Tango, Hustle and more! (Click on the 'About Us' button above, and subscribe to our mailing list).  ***NOTE: We also have gift certificates available in any monetary amount, good for classes, dances and merchandise.        

Location

All our classes and dances are held at: GRACE HALL, 73 N. Hill Ave., Pasadena, 91106.  (in BACK of the Hill Avenue Grace Lutheran Church).  There is plenty of free easy parking, air-conditioning, and a very nice LARGE wood floor. COME JOIN US!

In 2011 the Stevens sisters of PBDA were contracted to write a historical reference guide to SWING DANCING, which has become a textbook at several universities around the country. Tami and Erin can sign the books, and personalize copies as well!  The books are available in the classes, or by calling our office phone (626) 799-5689, or thru Amazon.com!

THIS SATURDAY NIGHT, March 4th, our weekly Swing Dance features:

The LA Swing Barons Big Band! Swing Lesson: 7:30-8pm; Band plays 8-11:30pm. $15. includes the Lesson, plus snacks, refreshments & door prizes! 

Everyone is invited, you don't need a partner, just come & enjoy!
