The Ladd McIntosh Full Swing Band will play for our annual Spooktacular HALLOWEEN DANCE coming up on Saturday Night, Oct. 29th! LOTS of Prizes for the best costumes in the room! We always love Flattop Tom & His Jump Cats, and they'll play for our Weekly Swing Dance THIS Saturday Night, Oct. 1st. Then on Sunday Evening (Oct. 2nd) we'll start a 4-week workshop in Level II BALBOA, 6:30-7:30pm. $55. Series; or $15. per class.
Next Thursday Night, Oct. 6th, it's a VIENNESE WALTZ & POLKA workshop! Learn a bit of "Oktoberfest" Waltz and a great pattern in basic Polka! 3-week series 8-9pm. $40 series; or $15 per class. This Friday, Aug. 26th it's our Once-a-Month "Evening of Ballroom" with a Freestyle Foxtrot Lesson 7:30-8pm; and a DJ'd variety of Ballroom tunes 8-11:30pm. $15 includes the Lesson, plus snacks & door prizes.
This Saturday, Aug. 27th, the L.A. Swing Barons Big Band will play for our final Summer Passport Theme Dance. It's the "Wonderful World of Disney"! $20 this special evening includes the Swing Lesson 7:30-8pm; Band plays 8-11:30pm, plus snacks, refreshments, door prizes and extra "themed" fun. This Sunday, Aug. 28th, "Dips & Tricks for Swing Dancers". Its a one-night-only class 6:30-7:45pm. $15. admission. Open to all level Swing Dancers!
Our last "Swingin' Under the Stars" in the Garfield Promenade at Paseo Colorado Mall in Pasadena, is AUG. 19th with Curtis Parry & His Jazz Cartel. Swing Lesson 7:00-7:30pm; Band plays 7:30-10pm. Nice wood floor! FREE!
